Maine-Tucker Staff complete JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge
Maine-Tucker staff put on their running shoes and joined in the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge, alongside thousands of others in Battersea Park on Thursday 12th July. Weather conditions were perfect for the 5.6k charity run and not even the competitive City workers who were sprinting past us like herds of wilder beast nearly knocking us over, could dampen our spirits! The atmosphere was almost party-like as 13,000 runners were laughing and chatting, in other words, there was a lot of networking!
Whilst we all began the race together, there were a few that were clearly fitter than the rest of us, and a big well done to Lucy Skinner who was the first MTR team member to cross the finishing line!
Afterwards there was huge relief as we all finished and relaxed in the park with food and drink, and any aches and pains from the run were quickly forgotten!
