Candidate Charter

At Maine-Tucker, our candidates are our passion. These are our 10 promises dedicated to you so that you can experience recruitment the Maine-Tucker way.

  • At all times you will have a clear, objective understanding of the Maine-Tucker process. We will be available to you every step of the way.
  • You will benefit from an honest, constructive and reliable service.
  • Keeping you in the loop is our priority. You will receive a verbal/written response within 48 hours of us receiving your CV. If we don’t think we can help you, we will point you in the direction which we think can.
  • We strive to answer all phone calls within the first ring. If, on the rare occasion you have to leave a message or you prefer to email, we will respond within 24 hours.
  • Our salary guidelines will always be honest and realistic. We want you to earn what you are worth and will consider your expectations against market conditions, ensuring a perfect fit. Similarly, if you’re temping, we will endeavour to get you the best rate we can.
  • We won’t put you forward for any role without your expressed consent and understanding.
  • Having you prepared and ready for action is paramount to us. Interviews, timing and location will all be confirmed in writing to you in plenty of time. If possible, we’ll provide a map or directions; in fact, we always suggest a test run!
  • Prior to interview, we will prep you with a written brief, company profile and details of who you’ll meet. Likewise, if we’ve placed you in a temporary booking, we will have you all ready to go with all the information you need before you arrive. A real thorough briefing!
  • We will eagerly await your feedback following your interview, and likewise, client feedback will be passed onto you as soon as we have it.
  • It’s always nice to hear how great you are from your previous employers; however, we assure you we won’t contact them without your prior consent.

We really look forward to working with you and striving hard to get you the perfect permanent role or temporary assignment in the perfect company!
