Update from Our PA..

Well all, after many months, Christmas, Easter, and a few hair shades darker, here I am again!
I’ve been busy busy, in and out of work. March was a manic month for me, with about 5 birthdays to celebrate in various places...mainly Portsmouth, London and Cambridge. I’ve also just booked a girl’s holiday to Portugal, so bring on August! (It’s a hard life!)
My role has increased slightly, I now help out with payroll and temporary admin, as well as ensuring Meeta gets the most out of her day. (She has one crazy diary to organise!) From catching up with her team, to visiting new clients, to most importantly focusing on the strategy of Maine-Tucker, every second of her day is dedicated to the business. It’s my job to help her prioritise and to help her get the most out of every minute. Some may say I’m a little too hard on her sometimes....but I can certainly say it pays off, as the Maine-Tucker hub is buzzing. The phone is non stop, and with our new ringtone every call feels like we’re Jack Bauer in 24!
The permanent secretarial side have some great roles they are focusing on; the temporary side is really starting to pick up, our Sales and Marketing division are busy sourcing new candidates for new roles, and as for Strictly Finance...they are beginning to make their mark! It’s really encouraging to see new business coming along and Natasha is now on board to help develop this. Sam and Carly are also pitching to a big client today which is really exciting. Good luck!!
We are super busy on the support side, Tash,as always, has just organised a successful employment law forum amongst many other things and Kat is busy as ever in the finance department! Don’t forget it’s Payday this week Kat ; )!!
A few faces have left and a few new ones have arrived but the Maine-Tucker team is still as strong as ever. Focus and motivation is standard, but there is definitely a little bit of banter too. What about those SHOES Chima?! Max has also just had a haircut which makes him handsome as ever. No-one can resist those puppy dog eyes now!
Before I go I must mention that, after a little deliberation, the office has discovered a newfound love for Twitter!
