Post Easter on the Permanent Secretarial Recruitment Front!
A Blog by Samantha
Well I hope everyone had a good Easter, ate loads of chocolate and are feeling well rested!
It’s only the first day back and already it feels like I haven’t been off (in a good way!) We have our new girl Laura starting today. She has approximately a year and a half’s experience working as a Secretary in a school and I originally interviewed her when she saw an ad I had written for one of my clients for a Team Sec role. After going along for the interview and deciding it wasn’t for her she sent me an email asking whether we could consider her for a job with us! Although Laura has no previous experience, when we see someone we know has potential we grab onto them! We all definitely saw something in her so here she is, first day today learning everything there is to know about recruitment! Exciting stuff and lets hope I don’t put her off and she becomes the next best thing which I have high hopes she will! No pressure……
Other than that, it’s busy on the job front so just lots of CV searching, interviewing potential candidates, off to see clients, calling clients, calling candidates, arranging interviews, getting feedback, training, sourcing candidates and filling lots of jobs. So never a dull moment but its all fun!
It’s never a dull moment in the office – everyone is always in good spirits which is great and Max (my dog) wanders around the office searching for anything from food, to drink, to food, to attention, to more food and lots of cuddles. Let’s hope it’s a busy April and May and fingers crossed the sun keeps coming!
Tune in next week to hear from our Senior Permanent Consultant Diane.
