Our client is leading solution provider delivering a comprehensive range of Sustainability, Risk and Wellbeing Management services and software to major corporations and the property sector with five brands and companies.

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a high calibre Finance and Information Director who will predominantly be managing the business analysis, planning; management accounting, IT and finance function for the group. We are looking for an independent, dynamic and energetic individual who is not only creative but curious and passionate about growing a business and business planning and control. An individual who is able to support and advise the business on financial strategies, policy and opportunities and risk to ensure fast track growth of the company.

We are looking for someone who possesses an interest in not only finance but in business in general and demonstrates productivity and initiative to build the value of the group.
As well as being a fast learner, the ideal candidate will display a keen interest in developing skills and expertise in the business and be able to challenge the status quo and be able to suggest and implement strategies in alignment with the businesses overall goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will be able to flourish in our flat structure organisation where the work ethic is dynamic, entrepreneurial and very aligned

The Role

- Assisting the business with understanding financial drivers and partnering with the business to provide value-added management information to aid decision making and the implementation of strategic goals;
- Assisting in the development of the Groups financial strategy;
- Undertaking business planning, including 3 year forecasts and providing reporting and cost management of the firm's overhead cost base including product streams and monitoring forecasting cost of resourcing;
- Contributing to business development establishing and financial operating of strategic alliances, franchises, acquisitions, due diligence and post-acquisition management revaluation and reporting activities;
- Delivering timely management information, including business analyses, profit and loss statements and business line board reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Undertaking reporting in preparation of sell and or part listing on the LSE;
- Managing compensation, EMI schemes and benefits calculations and reporting, including direct involvement with members of the business to develop bonus and remuneration models;
- Developing the business plans supported by other functions and assisting the CEO;
- Undertaking Commercial Management including Business administration, Margin Management of contracts, negotiations, contract evaluations and development;
- Managing financial flow of investment, working and capex around group for tax and operational efficiencies and effectiveness;
- Supporting the CEO in raising funds and working capital, where required including High leverage debt financing and deal structures;
- Supporting the CEO researching and evaluating potential targets for strategic alliances;
- Managing professional advice, insurances and corporate governance controls;
- Procuring Intellectual Property Rights and its life cycle;
- Developing pricing policies and other financial and business administration policy;
- Management of Financial Control throughout the business;
- Able to analyse business risks and screening company legal documents;
- Accountable for dealing with all contentious, legal matters e.g. client contract disputes;
- Directing IT systems for managing;
- Overseeing sales pipeline, monitoring alignment and controlling the course correction of those responsible;
- Bottom line focus and balance scorecard approach

- Min 4 years experience

Qualifications

- Educated to minimum degree level
- Must possess a finance related qualification

Practical Requirements

- Can comfortably deal with high pressure work environment, multiple deadlines fast pace and business prioritisation.
- Strong ITC skills
- Ability to comfortably write, review own work to high standards and present
- High strategic and tactical reasoning
- Highly dependable with strong track record in attendance
- Can comfortably work odd hours and long hours
- Can work in a diverse work environment
